General Contractor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings. The ideal applicant should have a strong understanding of plumbing codes, piping systems, and tools, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and solve issues independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of systems.

Cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings using hand and power tools.

Install and service water heaters, toilets, sinks, faucets, and other plumbing fixtures.

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and leaks.

Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems.

Follow safety and building regulations and codes.
-
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.

Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.

Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
Qualifications:
-
Proven experience as a plumber or plumbing apprentice.

Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and installation techniques.

Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.

Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.

Proficient with hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade.

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
-
Good physical condition and ability to work in tight spaces, at heights, or in various weather conditions.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program or vocational training.

Valid plumbing license or certification (as required by state/local law).

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
Preferred:
-
Experience with both residential and commercial projects.
-
Backflow certification or additional specialty licenses.
-
OSHA safety certification.
