Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings. The ideal applicant should have a strong understanding of plumbing codes, piping systems, and tools, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and solve issues independently or as part of a team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of systems.

  • Cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings using hand and power tools.

  • Install and service water heaters, toilets, sinks, faucets, and other plumbing fixtures.

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and leaks.

  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems.

  • Follow safety and building regulations and codes.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.

  • Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a plumber or plumbing apprentice.

  • Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and installation techniques.

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.

  • Proficient with hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Good physical condition and ability to work in tight spaces, at heights, or in various weather conditions.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program or vocational training.

  • Valid plumbing license or certification (as required by state/local law).

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.


Preferred:

  • Experience with both residential and commercial projects.

  • Backflow certification or additional specialty licenses.

  • OSHA safety certification.
