Overview
Prestige Auto & Transmission Repair is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team in Fort Myers, FL. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to delivering quality service. We work on a wide variety of vehicles, including domestic and imported models, and value technicians who are eager to grow with us.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and general repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Repair and service braking, suspension, transmission, and engine systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, service manuals, and diagnostic reports.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
• Communicate clearly with customers about vehicle issues and repair options.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on evolving automotive technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on repair skills.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, diesel engines, or welding is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals and schematics.
• Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must provide own basic tools; specialty equipment is provided by the shop.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
