Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Fire Sprinkler Installer to join our fire protection team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, assembling, and testing fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. This role requires strong attention to safety, detail, and code compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, modify, and repair fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints, specifications, and local/national fire codes.

• Cut, thread, and join piping and related equipment using hand and power tools.

• Read and interpret construction drawings and fire protection plans.

• Test sprinkler systems for leaks and proper function using air or water pressure.

• Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and other trades on job sites.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on all job sites.

• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.

• Document materials used, hours worked, and job progress as required.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience installing fire sprinkler systems (or apprenticeship experience).

• Familiarity with NFPA standards (especially NFPA 13, 13R, and 13D).

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Comfortable working at heights (ladders, lifts, scaffolding).

• Experience with steel, CPVC, and/or PEX piping.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments.

• Willingness to travel to job sites (local or regional).

• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Preferred:

• NICET certification in Fire Sprinkler Systems (Level I or higher).

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification.

• Previous union or commercial construction experience.

• Welding or brazing experience (where applicable).
