Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems for residential, commercial, or industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HVAC systems, the ability to diagnose problems quickly and accurately, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, ductwork, and refrigeration units.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues using specialized tools and software.

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently.

  • Test electrical circuits and components for continuity, voltage, and amperage.

  • Handle refrigerants according to EPA standards and regulations.

  • Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.

  • Communicate clearly with customers and team members regarding job status and recommendations.

  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local codes, company guidelines, and safety standards.

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as an HVAC Technician (or completion of accredited HVAC training program).

  • Proficient in HVAC system diagnostics, repair, and installation.

  • Strong understanding of HVAC controls, wiring, and refrigeration cycles.

  • Familiarity with hand and power tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • EPA Section 608 Certification (Type I, II, or Universal).

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces, attics, or crawlspaces.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.


Preferred:

  • NATE certification or other industry certifications.

  • Experience with smart thermostats and modern HVAC controls.

  • Knowledge of both residential and light commercial systems.


Work Environment:

  • Work may involve indoor and outdoor environments.

  • May require overtime, weekend, or on-call hours depending on client needs.
