Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems for residential, commercial, or industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HVAC systems, the ability to diagnose problems quickly and accurately, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, ductwork, and refrigeration units.

Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues using specialized tools and software.

Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently.

Test electrical circuits and components for continuity, voltage, and amperage.

Handle refrigerants according to EPA standards and regulations.

Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.

Communicate clearly with customers and team members regarding job status and recommendations.

Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local codes, company guidelines, and safety standards.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as an HVAC Technician (or completion of accredited HVAC training program).

Proficient in HVAC system diagnostics, repair, and installation.

Strong understanding of HVAC controls, wiring, and refrigeration cycles.

Familiarity with hand and power tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.

EPA Section 608 Certification (Type I, II, or Universal).

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces, attics, or crawlspaces.

Strong communication and customer service skills.
Preferred:

NATE certification or other industry certifications.

Experience with smart thermostats and modern HVAC controls.

Knowledge of both residential and light commercial systems.
Work Environment:

Work may involve indoor and outdoor environments.

May require overtime, weekend, or on-call hours depending on client needs.
